In Memory of Sherry D. Foster
According to statistics one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and Sherry D. Foster was one of those women. Sherry was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in January 1993 and she fought this horrible disease for twenty five (25) years. Unfortunately Sherry lost her battle with cancer and passed away on July 5, 2017.
In memory of my sister Sherry D. Foster I am raising funds to support Susan G. Komen Foundation so they can provide education, screening, treatment programs for women and men in our community and support cutting-edge research so that one day we can live in a world without breast cancer.
As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
